Serving as a liaison between businesses and residents, the Chamber provides valuable resources, programs, business tools and services for its members to help them succeed in Arlington.

1) Chamber Connections Bi-weekly E-newsletter: (powered by Constant Contact). Published every other Tuesday. This is the ONLY way you can reach every Chamber member by email since we NEVER EVER share, rent or sell our email list. Promote your business with items to include in: Good News to Share, Critical Knowledge, Snapshot, Chamber Connections, Special Offers, Constant Contact Showcase, FYI-Members w/ News to Share, Welcome New Members, Chamber Member Events, Kudos, Non-Profit News.

2) Let Us Introduce You: Is there someone in the Chamber you’d like to meet? Then let us know and we will introduce you. Plus, at most after-hours events, we have a list of registered attendees on the badge table. Look it over and we will make sure you meet the person(s) you wish to meet.

3) Chamber Promo: A members-only exclusive. During most after-hour events, the Chamber promotes your business by running a continuous Powerpoint loop appearing on a 32-inch wide screen, courtesy of The Computer Cafe. Each member attending the event is showcased with its logo, tagline and URL.

4) Introduce Yourself: At most breakfast seminars, attendees have the opportunity to introduce themselves and say something brief about their business. You’ll also leave with a contact sheet.

5) Constant Contact: If you use Constant Contact for your email campaigns, you can take advantage of the Chamber’s discount and save up to 25% when you elect to prepay your subscription.

6) Chamber Photo Tile: Featured on the Chamber’s website (see the top of the page), these tiles appear randomly on the site, changing every time a visitor clicks to a new web page.

7) Group Rate Health Insurance: The Chamber offers members group rates for health insurance. Please call the Chamber for more details. In addition, there is a program administered by the Commonwealth that subsidizes health insurance (based on income) for self-employed business owners and those with 2-9 employees. 9) Chamber Postal Mailing List: Reach out to members with a direct (postal) mail campaign. Once the Chamber approves your mailing, you’ll have access to the Chamber's mailing list for free. Choose to receive the addresses on labels on in an excel spreadsheet. your packet.

 

10) SCORE and MSBDC: Why travel to Boston when you can meet with SCORE (Service Corp of Retired Executives) or MSBDC (Mass. Small Business Development Center) counselors right here?

Membership Dues

 

Your investment in annual membership dues are based on the number of people working in your organization (Note: 2 half-time employees count as 1 full-time employee; the business owner counts as one of the employees):

  • Non-profit members are 50% of the above rates (application must be accompanied by copy of 501(c) certificate).

  • Your membership year begins the day that you join.

  • Chamber dues are a tax deductible business expense.

The Chamber accepts:

  • Cash (please apply in person for this option)
  • Checks (payable to The Arlington Chamber of Commerce that can be either mailed or delivered in person
  • Credit cards (Visa, MC and AMEX) (supply cc info on the application, call the Chamber at 781.643.4600 or apply in person.
